All Corgi-L members are invited to use the new Corgi-L photo gallery to upload and share photos of their Corgwn and Corgi-related activities.

The Corgi-L photo gallery works on the honor system. There's no approval process, there's no limit on the number of photos you can post. Any Corgi-L member can register and post photos, and anyone on the internet can see them. (Obviously, should it be abused this may change.)

And it's free(*). And there's no advertising.

There are a couple of obvious and basic "ground rules" ...

  • No advertising. That means no advertising of dogs for sale, rescue dogs, stud service, Corgi products etc. is allowed. We do have plans for solutions for both of those types of things, but the Photo Gallery is NOT it.

  • Photos cannot be inappropriate or objectionable. Because the definition of either is so vague, the bottom line is simply that the Corgi-L Administrators must retain the right to remove or disallow any photo at any time.

  • The photo gallery is intended for Corgi-L members only. That means it's our intent that only Corgi-L members upload photos. Anyone on the internet can see them, of course, and we encourage you to use it as a fine place to share your photos with your familiy and the world.

  • The photo gallery is intended for Corgi-related materials. Obviously that includes your Corgi's family, but it's not, for example, a place to post your pet-free family photo album.

  • You are responsible for backing up your photos. We can't stress this one enough. Do not rely on Corgi-L's photo gallery (or any on-line gallery for that matter) to keep the only copy of your precious photos. Stuff happens. Back them up on your computer, to a CD, or SOMETHING. Barring unforeseen disasters, Corgi-L photos will remain up indefinitely, BUT we cannot guarantee it.

(*) Now, about that "free" part. :-)

Let's be clear - it's free. Honest.

However - you are welcome, even encouraged, to make a donation to CorgiAid for each photo submitted. $1, $5, whatever. It's not required ... but it sure would be nice, and would serve as a nice recognition and "Thanks" for the service being provided.

So have fun with it, and start uploading those pictures!
